These terms explain how you may play Tabula Domino, what you can expect from us and what we expect from you. We have tried to keep them short and clear. If something is unclear, write to us (section 22).

1. Who we are

1.1. The Service is provided by BumuStudios, an independent developer who publishes games under that name. No company has been founded yet; when one is, these terms and the "Legal Notice and Contact" page will be updated with its details and we will tell you in the app. Our contact details are on the "Legal Notice and Contact" page. In these terms, "we" and "us" mean BumuStudios.

1.2. The "Service" means the Tabula Domino mobile app, its servers and the legal pages the app opens. "You" means the person using the Service.

2. Accepting these terms

2.1. You need to accept these terms before you start playing. We record which version you accepted and when.

2.2. These documents form part of these terms:

2.3. The Privacy Policy is not part of the contract. It explains how we process your personal data, and you are not asked to "accept" it.

2.4. If you downloaded the app from the App Store or Google Play, that store's own terms also apply. Terms specific to Apple are in section 21.

3. Who may use the Service

3.1. Age. You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. If you are 13 to 17, the game runs in protected mode, described in "Age Policy and Child Safety". If you are under 18, please read these terms with a parent or guardian.

3.2. Country. We do not offer the Service in:

3.3. People named on those sanctions lists may not use the Service.

3.4. You are responsible for using the Service in line with the law where you are.

4. The game

4.1. Tabula Domino is a dominoes game played over the internet. You need an internet connection to play.

4.2. Ways to play. In quick match, the system finds opponents close to your level. In practice you play against a bot. In a private room you play with friends using a join code. Tables seat 2, 3 or 4 players; with 4 you can also play in two teams of two. There are seasons and a leaderboard.

4.3. Bots. When no opponent is found, in practice, or when a player leaves a table, computer opponents (bots) may play. Bots are always labelled "BOT" next to their name. We never present a bot as a human. Bot profiles are fictional and do not belong to any real person.

4.4. The server's record decides. Our servers run the game. The server's record decides whether a move is valid, whose turn it is, the result and the score. The server refuses a move that breaks the rules. The dominoes rules are explained in the app.

4.5. Time and connection. You have a time limit for each move; the app shows it. If time runs out, the game makes a move for you according to the rules. If this happens several times in a row, or if you do not come back within a set time after losing your connection, you may lose the match. All time limits are shown in the game. If our servers have an outage, the clocks stop and the match continues where it left off.

4.6. Leaving a match counts as a loss. A player who leaves a two-player match loses it. A player who leaves a three- or four-player table is ranked last and a labelled bot takes their seat. In team play, the leaving player's team loses. At a table with an Akçe entry, the leaving player's entry is not returned.

4.7. Rating. Match results affect your rating. Matches with bots do not affect your rating.

5. Your account

5.1. Guest account. On first launch you choose a display name and a guest account is created for you. A guest account works through a session on your device. If you delete the app, lose your device or reset it, you may not be able to get back into your guest account. To avoid this, you can link your account to an Apple, Google, Facebook or X account.

5.2. Linked account. With a linked account you can sign in on another device. The sign-in provider's own terms also apply.

5.3. One person, one account. Your account is personal to you. You may not sell, transfer, rent or share it. You may not use someone else's account. You may not open a new account to get around a sanction.

5.4. Security. You are responsible for the security of your device and your linked accounts. If you think someone is using your account without permission, write to us straight away.

5.5. Display name. Your display name is 2 to 20 characters and does not have to be unique. You can change it once every 7 days. The naming rules are in the Community Guidelines. We may reset a name that breaks them. When you sign in with Google and still have the name given automatically, your Google account's name becomes your display name once, if it follows the rules; a name you chose yourself is never changed (Privacy Policy section 3.1).

5.6. Profile photo. You may upload a profile photo or use the photo of an account you linked. Your photo is visible to all players as soon as you set it. We check photos with automated tools and in response to reports. When you sign in with Google and your account has no photo yet, your Google account's photo becomes your profile photo once and goes through the same checks. You can change or remove your photo at any time.

6. Rules of conduct

To keep the game calm and fair for everyone, you may not do the following. The full list is in the Community Guidelines.

If you find a security vulnerability, you can report it to support@tabulastudios.com. We will not take legal action over reports made in good faith, without harming others and without exploiting the vulnerability.

7. Your content

7.1. Your display name, your profile photo and the quick messages you choose to send are "your content". Your content belongs to you.

7.2. So that we can show your content in the Service, you give us permission to store, copy, resize, reformat and show your content to other players within the Service, worldwide and free of charge. This permission is only for running the Service. It ends when you remove the content or delete your account, subject to the retention periods in the Privacy Policy.

7.3. You confirm that a photo you upload is yours or that you have permission to use it, and that anyone shown in it has agreed.

7.4. We do not review your content in advance. We may remove content that breaks the rules (section 8).

8. Moderation, sanctions and appeals

8.1. Reporting. You can report a player, their profile photo or their name from inside the app. People without an account can report illegal content to support@tabulastudios.com. Please say where the content is and why you believe it is illegal.

8.2. How we moderate. A trained member of our staff reviews reports. In addition, we scan profile photos with an automated model running on our own servers, and display names pass through an automated word filter. Automated tools may hide a photo or refuse a name. A decision to sanction an account is always taken by a person. Reports never lead to an automatic sanction on their own.

8.3. Sanctions. Depending on how serious a breach is, we may:

A suspended account cannot play and loses any match in progress. If you cancel many match searches in a short time, or do not show up for a match you were matched into, the system may keep you out of matchmaking for a short while. That is not an account sanction.

8.4. Reasons. When we remove your content or suspend your account, we tell you in the app why, when the sanction ends and how to appeal. We may not do so where the law forbids it or where telling you would put an investigation at risk.

8.5. Appeals. You can appeal a decision within 6 months of learning about it, using the "Support and appeals" form in the app. On a suspended account, use the "Appeal" button on the suspension screen. A member of staff who did not take the original decision reviews your appeal. If we find the decision was wrong, we reverse it. You always keep the right to go to court or to a competent authority.

8.6. Serious violations. If we become aware of child sexual abuse material, or of a situation that threatens someone's life or safety, we remove the content immediately, close the account and report it to the competent authorities.

9. Akçe and purchases

9.1. Tables use Akçe, the game's virtual currency. Akçe is earned only by playing, through the daily gift, through the one-time account-link reward and by watching optional rewarded ads. It cannot be bought, cannot be transferred to other players and cannot be cashed out.

9.2. At tables that matchmaking sets up, every player pays an entry in Akçe and the winners receive payouts in Akçe. The screen shows the entry and the payouts before you sit down. Private tables, rematches and practice tables against bots take no entry; practice tables give no Akçe. Leaving a match counts as a loss (section 4.6).

9.3. There is no premium currency for sale today. What you can buy in the store (the ad-free pack and, where offered, cosmetic items) never gives Akçe, a table entry or an advantage at a table.

9.4. Akçe and items have no real-money value. They cannot be cashed out, transferred or gifted to other players, or sold outside the Service. You cannot win real money or prizes with real-world value in the game.

9.5. Entries and payouts, the daily gift, rewarded ads, the "win it back" offer, purchases, the right of withdrawal and refunds are described in the Purchase and Virtual Currency Terms.

10. Ads

To offer the game for free, we show ads from Google AdMob: a small banner in the menus (home screen, profile, settings) and an ad between matches, at most once every third finished match and at least 3 minutes apart. No ads are shown during a match or when the app opens. Rewarded ads (for Akçe, or for the "win it back" offer) are shown only when you choose to watch one. Ads are personalised only if you agree in Google's consent form; see "Ad Choices and Permissions". If you are 13 to 17, you only see non-personalised ads. The ad-free pack removes the banner and the ads between matches. Crash reports (Google Firebase Crashlytics) are sent by default; you can turn them off at any time with the Settings → Privacy → "Crash reports" switch. Usage measurement (Google Analytics for Firebase) is sent only with your permission. Details are in the Privacy Policy.

11. Notifications

If you allow it, we send notifications about your matches (opponent found, table ready, your turn). If you are 18 or over, you may also receive announcements about new features and events; you can turn them off in Settings → Notifications. If you are 13 to 17, we do not send announcements. You can also turn notifications off in your device settings.

12. Our calm-play principle

We design Tabula Domino as a calm game you can drop into now and then. That is why:

If something in the game feels against this principle, please tell us.

13. Intellectual property

13.1. The Service, including its software, design, images, sounds, texts and brand, belongs to us or our licensors. The rules of dominoes belong to no one; these terms only cover our app.

13.2. We give you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive and revocable licence to use the Service for personal, non-commercial purposes in line with these terms.

13.3. Licences for the open-source software and third-party images we use are in the app under Settings → Licences.

14. Changes to the Service and outages

14.1. We may add, change or remove features to improve the Service. We will tell you in advance about a change that materially affects something you bought.

14.2. The Service may be temporarily unavailable for maintenance or because of a fault. Matches in progress are restored from our server records.

14.3. If an old version of the app no longer works, the app will ask you to update.

14.4. If we shut the Service down completely, we will announce it in the app at least 90 days in advance. Purchases close after the announcement. Your rights under consumer law for content you bought and have not used are not affected.

15. Ending your account

15.1. You can delete your account at any time in Settings → Account and profile → Delete account. Your account is frozen immediately and you can cancel the deletion within 14 days. When that period ends, your account is deleted. Akçe and items on a deleted account do not come back, subject to mandatory consumer law.

15.2. If you seriously or repeatedly break these terms, we may suspend your account (section 8). We may close an account where the law requires it or where the account is used for an unlawful purpose. In those cases too we tell you our reasons.

16. Liability

16.1. We provide the Service with care, but we cannot guarantee that it will be uninterrupted or free of errors. Your statutory rights as a consumer are not affected.

16.2. We are not responsible for matches, rating or Akçe lost because of a dropped connection, a device fault or other causes outside our control. If we see that a match ended wrongly because of our error, we will try to correct it and give back the Akçe it cost you.

16.3. To the extent the law allows, our liability under these terms is limited to the total amount you paid us in the 12 months before the event.

16.4. We do not limit our liability for intent or gross negligence, for death or personal injury, or in any other case where the law does not allow liability to be limited.

17. Force majeure

We are not responsible if we cannot meet our obligations because of events outside our control, such as natural disasters, war, epidemics, major failures of internet infrastructure or of our hosting provider, or orders of competent authorities. In such a case we will inform you and try to restore the Service as soon as possible.

18. Governing law and disputes

18.1. These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye. The courts and enforcement offices of Istanbul (Central) have jurisdiction.

18.2. If you are a consumer, you keep the protections that the law of your country of residence gives you and that cannot be excluded by contract. You may bring a claim before the courts and consumer bodies where you live. If you live in Türkiye, you may apply to the consumer arbitration committees and consumer courts.

18.3. Please talk to us first: we can solve most problems through the "Support and appeals" form.

19. Changes to these terms

19.1. We may change these terms. Each version has a number and an effective date.

19.2. We announce a material change in the app at least 30 days before it takes effect and ask you to accept the new version. Changes made for legal or security reasons may take effect sooner.

19.3. If you do not accept the new version, you can delete your account. Your rights relating to content you bought are not affected.

20. Languages

These terms are published in several languages. If the versions differ, the reading that is more favourable to you applies.

21. Terms specific to Apple

If you downloaded the app from the Apple App Store, these terms also apply:

  1. These terms are between you and us, not Apple. We, not Apple, are responsible for the app and its content.
  2. You may use the app only on Apple devices that you own or control, as permitted by the App Store Terms of Use.
  3. We are responsible for maintaining and supporting the app. Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support.
  4. If the app fails to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple may refund any price you paid for the app. To the extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation.
  5. We, not Apple, are responsible for any claims relating to the app, including product liability claims, claims that the app fails to meet legal or regulatory requirements, and consumer protection claims.
  6. If a third party claims that the app infringes its intellectual property rights, we, not Apple, are responsible for investigating, defending, settling and discharging that claim.
  7. You confirm that you are not located in a country subject to a U.S. Government embargo or designated as "terrorist supporting", and that you are not on any U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
  8. Questions and complaints about the app can be sent to the contacts in section 22.
  9. You must comply with applicable third-party terms (for example, your mobile carrier's) when using the app.
  10. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms. Once you accept these terms, Apple has the right to enforce them against you as a third-party beneficiary.
