We want Tabula Domino to be a calm and respectful place, like a table at a neighbourhood coffeehouse. These guidelines explain what is not allowed in the game, how we enforce the rules and how you can appeal a decision. They form part of the Terms of Service.
1. Display names
Your display name is 2 to 20 characters, does not have to be unique and can be changed once every 7 days. It may not contain:
- swearing, insults, hate speech, or sexual or violent expressions;
- another person's real name, a celebrity's name or a brand name (unless it is your own name);
- anything that imitates our staff, the support team or system messages (such as "Support", "Admin", "System");
- phone numbers, addresses, emails, web addresses, social media handles or advertising;
- references to illegal goods or services (such as drugs or gambling sites);
- mixed alphabets with look-alike letters used to imitate another name.
Names pass through an automated filter that recognises words in at least Turkish, English, Spanish, Portuguese and Arabic. We reset inappropriate names the filter misses when they are reported.
2. Profile photos
A new profile photo is first checked automatically on our own servers; once it passes, everyone can see it, and until then your avatar shows instead. It may not contain:
- nudity or sexual content;
- violence, gore or threats with weapons;
- hate symbols or hate speech;
- promotion of drugs, gambling or illegal goods;
- another person's photo without their permission, or an impersonation;
- an image whose copyright belongs to someone else and which you have no permission to use;
- a phone number, address or other personal information;
- anything that sexualises or endangers a person under 18 (section 7).
Photos are scanned for nudity and sexual content by an automated model running on our own servers. The model does not accept a photo that clearly breaks the rules; a photo it is unsure about is reviewed by our team, and until then only you see it. Violence and the other rules are enforced through reports and our staff's review. Photos of players aged 13 to 17, and of players who have not told us their age yet, are scanned with a stricter threshold. An image suspected of showing child sexual abuse is removed, kept as evidence for as long as the law requires and reported to the competent authorities (section 7).
3. Behaviour at the table
- Do not use quick messages or emoji to harass, mock or pressure your opponent.
- Do not threaten anyone, or demean people because of race, ethnicity, religion, sex, sexual orientation, disability, age or nationality.
- If a player has blocked you, do not try to reach them from another account.
- Do not leave matches often; short drops happen, but leaving on purpose spoils the game for others.
There is no free-text chat in the app; we designed it that way on purpose. You can mute, block and report anyone who bothers you.
4. Fair play
- Do not cheat: do not modify the app or its network traffic, try to see hidden tiles, or use software or automation that plays for you.
- Do not knowingly exploit bugs; please report them to us.
- Do not fix matches: do not agree results with other players, lose on purpose to pass on rating or Akçe, or work with the other team in team play.
- Do not sit at the same table with several accounts, or open a new account to get around a sanction.
5. Trading and accounts
- Do not buy, sell, rent or trade accounts, Akçe or items for real money.
- Do not use the game to advertise a product, site or service.
- Do not lead others to make payments outside the game or give out personal information (scams).
6. Illegal content
Do not share anything that is illegal under the law of your country or of Türkiye: attacks on personal rights, threats, terrorist propaganda, disclosure of other people's personal data, infringement of intellectual property and the like.
7. Child safety
We have zero tolerance for the sexual abuse or exploitation of children. If we become aware of such content (including drawn or AI-generated images) or of an attempt to abuse a child:
- we remove the content immediately;
- we suspend the account and, where necessary, terminate the contract and close it;
- we preserve the evidence required by law and report the matter to the competent authorities: to NCMEC (National Center for Missing & Exploited Children) in the US, to the Public Prosecutor's Office in Türkiye and to the competent authority of the relevant country.
If you think a child is in danger, first call the emergency number where you are. Then report it in the app or write to support@tabulastudios.com. Details are in "Age Policy and Child Safety".
8. How to report
- In the app: choose "Report" on a player's card, the end-of-match screen, the leaderboard or the "Recent players" list. You can report a player, their name or their photo.
- If you have no account: report content you believe is illegal to support@tabulastudios.com. Say exactly where the content is (player tag, name, screen), why you believe it is illegal, give your name and email address, and confirm that your notice is accurate and made in good faith. You do not need to give your name when reporting child sexual abuse.
- If you gave us a way to reach you, we confirm that we received your notice and tell you what we decided.
Knowingly making false reports also breaks the rules. We may stop processing notices for a while from people who keep sending unfounded reports.
9. How we moderate
- Automated tools: names pass through a word filter, a list of reserved terms and a look-alike letter check. Photos are scanned for nudity and sexual content by a model running on our own servers; the model does not recognise faces and photos are not sent outside. A player who cancels many match searches in a short time, or does not show up for a match, is automatically kept out of matchmaking for a short while. Automated tools can make mistakes, so their decisions can be challenged.
- Human review: trained staff review reports. We aim to look at reports within 48 hours. Reports about child safety and threats to someone's life come first.
- Account sanctions are always decided by a person; reports never lead to an automatic sanction on their own.
- We take care to decide impartially and proportionately, with due regard for fundamental rights, including freedom of expression.
10. Sanctions
We choose a sanction according to how serious the breach is, whether it is repeated and whether it was intentional. The table below is a guide; every case is judged on its own facts.
| Breach | Usual measure |
|---|---|
| Minor and first time (for example leaving matches often) | A warning or a 1-day suspension |
| Inappropriate display name | Name reset; if repeated, a 3- or 7-day suspension |
| Inappropriate profile photo | Photo hidden or deleted; if repeated, a 7- or 30-day suspension |
| Harassment, threats, hate speech | A 7- or 30-day suspension |
| Cheating, match fixing, trading accounts or currency | A 30-day or indefinite suspension |
| Child sexual abuse, serious threats of violence | Indefinite suspension, closing the account where necessary, and a report to the competent authorities |
Suspensions last 1, 3, 7 or 30 days, or are indefinite; an indefinite suspension lasts at most 365 days. A suspended account cannot play and loses any match in progress. If a sanction was given by mistake, we lift it.
11. Reasons and appeals
- When we remove your content, reset your name or suspend your account, we tell you in the app what we did, which rule we relied on, whether an automated tool was used in the decision, when the sanction ends and how you can appeal.
- You can appeal within 6 months of being told about the decision, through Settings → Support and appeals or the "Appeal" button on the suspension screen. A member of staff who did not take the original decision reviews your appeal, and we tell you the outcome.
- You always keep the right to go to court or to a competent authority. If you are in the EU, you can also turn to a certified out-of-court dispute settlement body about our decisions. If you are in the UK, you can send us complaints about how we apply these guidelines through the same form.
12. Requests from authorities
If a court or competent authority asks us to remove content or provide information, we check the request for lawfulness and comply as the law requires. Our point of contact for authorities is support@tabulastudios.com (Turkish and English). We apply removal and access-blocking decisions from Türkiye under Law No. 5651.
