Amiral Battı is a game people of all ages enjoy. So we know that some of our players will be young, and we design the game with that in mind. This page explains our age limit, protected mode for ages 13 to 17, what parents can do and how we protect children's safety.
1. Age limit: 13
- You must be at least 13 years old to play Amiral Battı.
- On first launch we ask for your birth year. The screen does not preselect any year or hint at the right answer. We do not ask for day or month.
- If your app store (Apple or Google) provides a signal of your age range, we use it as well. If the two differ, we go by the younger one.
- If it turns out you are under 13, the game does not open, no account is created and no personal data is sent to our servers. Only a record of this result stays on your device, and you cannot try again on the same device by changing your age.
- If we learn that a child under 13 has an account, we delete the account and its data.
2. Ages 13 to 17: protected mode
If you are 13 to 17, the game automatically runs in protected mode. In protected mode:
| Topic | What happens |
|---|---|
| Ads | Only non-personalised ads are shown; the ad network is told you are a minor. We do not ask for personalised-ad permission |
| Analytics and crash reports | We do not ask for permission; this data is not sent |
| Announcement notifications | Not sent. You only receive notifications about your own matches, if you allow them |
| Profile photo | Nobody uploads a profile photo in Amiral Battı and the game shows no photos; for minors, a Google account's photo is not taken either. A photo already on the account is removed when you give your age |
| Name | Moderated with a stricter threshold |
Purchases and Akçe work in protected mode as they do for everyone. There are only two optional things that can be bought with real money: the Ad-free Package and the Amiral Club monthly subscription. Neither gives Akçe or anything that can be used at tables; the purchase screen says that payment is taken from your app store account. The subscription renews every month until you cancel it in Google Play or the App Store. Parents can control purchases and subscriptions with the store's parental approval settings ("purchase approval" in Family Link on Google Play; "Ask to Buy" on Apple) (section 4). If you are 13 to 17, when you tap to buy either of them, a calm information page appears before the store opens: what it is, that it is optional, that it is paid with real money and that you may talk to a parent or guardian first ("Continue" or "Not now"). The Akçe page says that Akçe is only earned, by playing, from the daily gift and from optional ads, and cannot be bought or given to anyone; Akçe has no real value and cannot be cashed out. In the Akçe Bazaar, only earned Akçe buys small, permanent cosmetic items; they are never sold for real money, and this works the same way in protected mode. No offer is shown after a loss; after a win, an optional rewarded ad for extra Akçe may be offered, with no new stake.
Protected mode turns off by itself at the end of the year in which you turn 18. Because we only know your birth year, this may be a little after your birthday, to stay on the safe side.
India: in India everyone under 18 is considered a "child". If you are in India and under 18, protected mode lasts until you are 18. We ask that you play this game with the knowledge and consent of your parent or guardian.
3. Safe design for everyone
Apart from protected mode, we designed the game for all players as follows:
- There is no free-text chat. Players greet each other only with preset phrases and emoji.
- We do not ask for location permission and do not know your precise location. Other players see only your estimated country.
- You can mute, block and report players.
- Bots are always labelled "BOT".
- You cannot win real money or prizes with real value, and nothing bought can be used at tables. There are no paid loot boxes.
- We do not use countdowns, fear of missing out or offers that push you to win back losses to keep you playing.
4. For parents
- Purchases: you can approve your child's purchases with "Ask to Buy" (Family Sharing) on the App Store and purchase approvals (Family Link) on Google Play.
- Screen time: you can limit playing time with Screen Time on iPhone and Family Link on Android.
- Data: to access, correct or delete your child's data, write to privacy@tabulastudios.com. To confirm the account belongs to your child, we ask for the player tag and, if needed, a check inside the app.
- If a child under 13 is using the game, let us know; we will delete the account and its data.
5. Our standards against child sexual abuse and exploitation
We have zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) and child sexual abuse material (CSAM).
- What is prohibited: any content that shows or sexualises the sexual abuse of children (including drawn and AI-generated images); any attempt to contact a child for sexual purposes, to deceive a child or to put a child in danger.
- Prevention: there is no free chat; Amiral Battı shows no photos, profile photos taken from Google are scanned by a model on our own servers and anyone can report them; in protected mode names are moderated more strictly and there are no profile photos.
- Reporting in the app: the card of every player at the table has a "Report…" option. We prioritise child safety reports.
- Reporting outside the app: support@tabulastudios.com. You do not need to give your name.
- What we do: we remove the content immediately, suspend and where necessary close the account, preserve the evidence required by law and report the matter to the competent authorities: to NCMEC (National Center for Missing & Exploited Children) in the US, to the Public Prosecutor's Office in Türkiye and to the relevant competent authority in other countries.
- Compliance with law: we comply with applicable child safety laws and cooperate with the competent authorities.
- Child safety point of contact: support@tabulastudios.com. This address reaches a person who can speak about our child safety practices and respond to reports.
If a child is in danger right now, first call the emergency number where you are (112 in Türkiye and the EU, 911 in the US).
6. Brazil: the Digital Statute of Children and Adolescents (ECA Digital)
This section applies if your account was created from Brazil (we estimate the country from your connection address when the account is created; see the Privacy Policy) and you are 13 to 17, or have not told us your age yet. It adds to protected mode, under Brazil's Law 15.211/2025 (ECA Digital) and Decree 12.880/2026.
| Topic | What happens |
|---|---|
| Interaction with other players | Turned off. You cannot send or receive the preset phrases and emoji at the table, send or accept friend requests, or send or accept invitations to a table, and nobody can send them to you. You still play matches with other players, without exchanging messages |
| Notifications | No notifications about friends or invitations, and no announcements or reminders. Only notifications about your own matches, if you allow them |
| Ads, analytics, profile photo | As in protected mode (section 2): only non-personalised ads, no analytics or crash reports, no profile photo of your own |
| Changing these settings | Not possible. We cannot collect a parent's or guardian's consent inside the game, so these settings stay at the most protective level until protected mode ends |
Parental supervision. Parents and guardians supervise through Google Family Link: they approve the download, approve or block purchases, see and limit daily playing time and decide whether Google Play shares the age range with apps. If Google Play tells us that a parent supervises the account, it is always in protected mode. Inside the game there is nothing a parent has to switch on: the settings in the table above are already the most protective ones and cannot be lowered. This page explains them; for questions, write to support@tabulastudios.com.
Risks and what we do about them. A summary of our assessment of the risks to children and adolescents: contact with strangers (there is no free-text chat, and in Brazil minors have no interaction with other players at all); inappropriate names and photos (name filters, automatic moderation of photos, reports, no photos for minors); excessive use (no countdowns, no rewards for time played, no reminder or "come back" notifications for minors, and a new match starts only when you ask for it, and there are no weekly goals or streaks); commercial exploitation (Akçe cannot be bought, there are no loot boxes, the Akçe Bazaar takes only earned Akçe and never real money, the optional purchases (the Ad-free Package and the Amiral Club subscription) only remove ads and offer cosmetics, and never give Akçe, and ads shown to minors are not personalised); personal data (as little as possible, no location, no analytics for minors). We review this assessment at least once a year and before we add anything that lets players interact.
Contesting your age. If you think the age we use for you is wrong, tell us at privacy@tabulastudios.com, or at support@tabulastudios.com with the Settings → Help → "Support by e-mail" row in the app. We do not ask for identity documents. If the age you gave was a mistake, we can have the game ask it once more; if it came from Google Play, it is corrected with Google, which must let you contest it. We answer in writing, with our reasons.
Reporting a violation of a child's rights. Use "Report…" on the card of the player at the table, or write to support@tabulastudios.com. When the victim, their representative, the Public Prosecutor's Office or a child protection organisation tells us about content that violates a child's rights, we remove it immediately, without waiting for a court order; for this, tell us which player it is about (their player tag) and who you are. Child sexual abuse material is reported to NCMEC and to the Brazilian Federal Police.
Help in Brazil: emergency 190 (police); Disque 100 (violations of the rights of children and adolescents, free, 24 hours); CVV 188 (emotional support, free, 24 hours); SaferNet Brasil (new.safernet.org.br) for online safety and reports.
