Effective date: 3 November 2026 · Version 1.0.0
These terms explain how you may play Amiral Battı, what you can expect from us and what we expect from you. We have tried to keep them short and clear. If something is unclear, write to us (section 22).
1. Who we are
1.1. The Service is provided by BumuStudios, an independent developer who publishes games under that name. No company has been founded yet; when one is, these terms and the "Legal Notice and Contact" page will be updated with its details and we will tell you in the app. Our contact details are on the "Legal Notice and Contact" page. In these terms, "we" and "us" mean BumuStudios.
1.2. The "Service" means the Amiral Battı mobile app, its servers and the legal pages the app opens. "You" means the person using the Service.
2. Accepting these terms
2.1. You need to accept these terms before you start playing. We record which version you accepted and when.
2.2. These documents form part of these terms:
- Community Guidelines: what is not allowed in the game and how we moderate.
- Purchase and Virtual Currency Terms: Akçe, table entries and payouts, and purchases.
- Age Policy and Child Safety: the age rule and protected mode for ages 13 to 17.
2.3. The Privacy Policy is not part of the contract. It explains how we process your personal data, and you are not asked to "accept" it.
2.4. If you downloaded the app from the App Store or Google Play, that store's own terms also apply. Terms specific to Apple are in section 21.
3. Who may use the Service
3.1. Age. You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. If you are 13 to 17, the game runs in protected mode, described in "Age Policy and Child Safety". If you are under 18, please read these terms with a parent or guardian.
3.2. Country. We do not offer the Service in:
- China, Russia and Vietnam;
- Indonesia (until we have completed the registration required there);
- Cuba, Iran, North Korea, the occupied regions of Ukraine (Crimea, Donetsk, Luhansk, Zaporizhzhia and Kherson) and any other country or region under comprehensive sanctions of Türkiye, the European Union, the United Kingdom, the United Nations or the United States.
3.3. People named on those sanctions lists may not use the Service.
3.4. You are responsible for using the Service in line with the law where you are.
4. The game
4.1. Amiral Battı is a two-player naval game played over the internet, in which each player looks for the other's ships hidden on a grid. You need an internet connection to play.
4.2. Ways to play. In quick play the system finds you an opponent close to your level. In practice you play against a bot. You can play a friend at a private table with a join code or a link, and sit at tables in the lobby. Tables are for two players. There is a league with seasons.
4.3. Bots. When no opponent is found, in practice, or when a player leaves a table, computer opponents (bots) may play. Bots are always labelled "BOT" next to their name. We never present a bot as a human. Bot profiles are fictional and do not belong to any real person.
4.4. The server's record decides. Our servers run the game. The server's record decides whether a fleet layout is valid, whose turn it is, the result of each shot, the score and the outcome. The server refuses a move that breaks the rules. The rules of the game are explained in the app.
4.5. Time and connection. You have a set time to place your fleet and to take each shot; the times are shown in the app. If placement time runs out, the game starts with the layout on your screen. If shot time runs out, the game takes a shot for you by the rules; if this happens twice in a row, autopilot plays for you and you can take back control at any time with "Take over". You never lose a match because time ran out. If your connection drops and you do not come back within a set time, you lose the match. If our servers have an outage, the clocks stop and the match continues where it left off.
4.6. Leaving a match counts as a loss. A player who leaves a match loses it. A player who leaves a table with an Akçe entry does not get the entry back.
4.7. Rating. Match results affect your rating. Matches with bots do not affect your rating.
5. Your account
5.1. Guest account. On first launch a guest account is created for you with a display name given automatically. A guest account works through a session on your device. If you delete the app, lose your device or reset it, you may not be able to get back into your guest account. To avoid this, you can link your account to an Apple account (on iPhone) or a Google account (on Android).
5.2. Linked account. With a linked account you can sign in on another device. The sign-in provider's own terms also apply.
5.3. One person, one account. Your account is personal to you. You may not sell, transfer, rent or share it. You may not use someone else's account. You may not open a new account to get around a sanction.
5.4. Security. You are responsible for the security of your device and your linked accounts. If you think someone is using your account without permission, write to us straight away.
5.5. Display name. Your display name is 2 to 20 characters and does not have to be unique. Amiral Battı has no screen for changing it; the shared account's name can be changed in Tabula Domino. The naming rules are in the Community Guidelines. We may reset a name that breaks them. When you sign in with Google and still have the name given automatically, your Google account's name becomes your display name once, if it follows the rules; a name you chose yourself is never changed (Privacy Policy section 3.1).
5.6. Profile photo. Amiral Battı has no photo upload and shows no photos in the game. When you sign in with Google and your account has no photo yet, your Google account's photo becomes the shared account's profile photo once; it is checked automatically and other players see it in Tabula Domino. We check photos with automated tools and in response to reports. You can ask at privacy@tabulastudios.com to have the photo removed.
6. Rules of conduct
To keep the game calm and fair for everyone, you may not do the following. The full list is in the Community Guidelines.
- Cheat: modify the app or its network traffic, try to see hidden information (where your opponent's ships are), or use software that plays for you.
- Knowingly exploit a bug. We are glad if you report bugs to us.
- Fix a match with someone, or lose on purpose to pass on rating or Akçe.
- Use quick messages to harass, threaten or spread hate.
- Use an inappropriate name or photo, or impersonate someone.
- Buy or sell accounts, Akçe or items, or trade them for real money.
- Attack our servers, send excessive requests, or try to access other players' data.
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose.
If you find a security vulnerability, you can report it to support@tabulastudios.com. We will not take legal action over reports made in good faith, without harming others and without exploiting the vulnerability.
7. Your content
7.1. Your display name, your profile photo and the quick messages you choose to send are "your content". Your content belongs to you.
7.2. So that we can show your content in the Service, you give us permission to store, copy, resize, reformat and show your content to other players within the Service, worldwide and free of charge. This permission is only for running the Service. It ends when you remove the content or delete your account, subject to the retention periods in the Privacy Policy.
7.3. You confirm that your profile photo is yours or that you have permission to use it, and that anyone shown in it has agreed.
7.4. We do not review your content in advance. We may remove content that breaks the rules (section 8).
8. Moderation, sanctions and appeals
8.1. Reporting. You can report a player from the player card at the table ("Report…"), by picking a reason from the list. People without an account can report illegal content to support@tabulastudios.com. Please say where the content is and why you believe it is illegal.
8.2. How we moderate. A trained member of our staff reviews reports. In addition, we scan profile photos with an automated model running on our own servers, and display names pass through an automated word filter. Automated tools may hide a photo or refuse a name. A decision to sanction an account is always taken by a person. Reports never lead to an automatic sanction on their own.
8.3. Sanctions. Depending on how serious a breach is, we may:
- warn you;
- reset your name, or hide or delete your photo;
- suspend your account for 1, 3, 7 or 30 days;
- suspend your account indefinitely (for at most 365 days).
A suspended account cannot play and loses any match in progress. If you cancel many match searches in a short time, or do not show up for a match you were matched into, the system may keep you out of matchmaking for a short while. That is not an account sanction.
8.4. Reasons. When we suspend your account, the app opens the "Your account is suspended" screen instead of the home screen (after the match if you are in one). The screen gives the reason (if we have given one; otherwise, that the decision was made under the Community Guidelines), the day and time the suspension ends if it has an end, that you cannot sit at a table while it lasts, and that you can appeal by writing to support@tabulastudios.com; its "Support by e-mail" row prepares your appeal email. While suspended, you can still get a copy of your data and delete your account. You can ask at the same address for the reasons for any other decision or which rule we relied on. We may not tell you where the law forbids it or where telling you would put an investigation at risk.
8.5. Appeals. You can appeal a decision within 6 months of learning about it by emailing support@tabulastudios.com (in the app: Settings → Help → "Support by e-mail"); if your account is suspended, write to the same address. Amiral Battı has no appeal form. A member of staff who did not take the original decision reviews your appeal. If we find the decision was wrong, we reverse it. You always keep the right to go to court or to a competent authority.
8.6. Serious violations. If we become aware of child sexual abuse material, or of a situation that threatens someone's life or safety, we remove the content immediately, close the account and report it to the competent authorities.
9. Akçe and purchases
9.1. Tables use the game's virtual currency, Akçe. Akçe is earned only by playing, from the daily gift, from the one-time account linking reward and by watching optional rewarded ads. It cannot be bought, passed to other players or cashed out. Akçe in Amiral Battı is a balance separate from Akçe in our other game, Tabula Domino; the two are never merged and nothing moves from one to the other.
9.2. At tables that matchmaking sets up, every player pays an entry in Akçe and the winners receive payouts in Akçe. The screen shows the entry and the payouts before you sit down. Old-style private tables, rematches and practice tables against bots take no entry (practice tables give no Akçe); private tables opened in the lobby take the entry and pay prizes like open tables, but do not count toward rating or leaderboards. Leaving a match counts as a loss (section 4.6).
9.3. There is no premium currency for sale today. What you can buy in the store (the ad-free pack and the Amiral Club subscription) never gives Akçe, a table entry or an advantage at a table. They are valid only in Amiral Battı; what you buy in Tabula Domino does not count here, and what you buy here does not count there.
9.4. Akçe and items have no real-money value. They cannot be cashed out, transferred or gifted to other players, or sold outside the Service. You cannot win real money or prizes with real-world value in the game.
9.4A. The Akçe Bazaar. In the Akçe Bazaar you can buy small, permanent cosmetic items only with Akçe you have earned; these items are never sold for real money, cannot be transferred and give no advantage at a table. At private lobby tables, once the same two people have played 5 matches with Akçe in a day, their further matches that day are played without Akçe. Details are in the Purchase and Virtual Currency Terms (sections 2.2A and 6A).
9.5. Entries and payouts, the daily gift, rewarded ads, purchases, the right of withdrawal and refunds are described in the Purchase and Virtual Currency Terms.
10. Ads
To offer the game for free, we show ads from Google AdMob: an ad between matches and one small banner on the quick-play waiting screen. The ad between matches is shown at most once every 3 finished matches, at least 4 minutes apart and at most 10 a day; never before your second finished match on this device or during your first 3 days of playing on this device, nor within 10 minutes after you watched a rewarded ad, nor right after a match you lost; at lobby tables only when you get up from the table, not between games at the same table. No ads are shown during a match or when the app opens. A banner ad may appear only at the bottom of the waiting screen while quick play looks for an opponent, as one small (320×50) banner; there is no banner on any other screen. Rewarded ads (for Akçe, or for extra Akçe after a match you won) are shown only when you choose to watch one. Ads are personalised only if you agree in Google's consent form; see "Ad Choices and Permissions". If you are 13 to 17, you only see non-personalised ads. Amiral Battı's ad-free pack and Amiral Club membership remove the ads between matches and the banner on the waiting screen. Crash reports (Google Firebase Crashlytics) are sent by default; you can turn them off at any time with the Settings → Privacy → "Crash reports" switch. Usage measurement (Google Analytics for Firebase) is sent only with your permission. Details are in the Privacy Policy.
11. Notifications
If you allow it, we send notifications about your matches (opponent found, table ready, your turn). If you are 18 or over, you may also receive a calm reminder now and then and announcements about new features and events. If you are 13 to 17, we do not send reminders or announcements. We ask for notification permission only when you tap Settings → Notifications; you can turn notifications off there or in your device settings at any time.
12. Our calm-play principle
We design Amiral Battı as a calm game you can drop into now and then. That is why:
- we do not use countdowns or "last chance" pressure to push you to buy;
- we never ask you to pay to win back something you lost, and we show you no offer after a loss;
- there is no "double or nothing", and after a loss we do not suggest a bigger table;
- missing the daily gift does not penalise you.
If something we designed seems to go against this, write to us.
13. Intellectual property
13.1. The Service, including its software, design, images, sounds, texts and brand, belongs to us or our licensors. The general rules of the traditional pencil-and-paper naval guessing game belong to no one; these terms only cover our app. Amiral Battı is not affiliated with any other company's game or brand.
13.2. We give you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive and revocable licence to use the Service for personal, non-commercial purposes in line with these terms.
13.3. Licences for the fonts and open-source software we use, with their full texts, are in the app under Settings → Licences.
14. Changes to the Service and outages
14.1. We may add, change or remove features to improve the Service. We will tell you in advance about a change that materially affects something you bought.
14.2. The Service may be temporarily unavailable for maintenance or because of a fault. Matches in progress are restored from our server records.
14.3. If an old version of the app no longer works, the app will ask you to update.
14.4. If we shut the Service down completely, we will announce it in the app at least 90 days in advance. Purchases close after the announcement. Your rights under consumer law for content you bought and have not used are not affected.
15. Ending your account
15.1. You can delete your account at any time in Settings → Account → Delete account; because the account is shared by both games, your Tabula Domino account is deleted too. Your account is frozen immediately and you can cancel the deletion within 14 days with "Cancel the deletion" on the "Your account is about to be deleted" screen. When that period ends, your account is deleted. Akçe and items on a deleted account do not come back, subject to mandatory consumer law.
15.2. If you seriously or repeatedly break these terms, we may suspend your account (section 8). We may close an account where the law requires it or where the account is used for an unlawful purpose. In those cases too we tell you our reasons.
16. Liability
16.1. We provide the Service with care, but we cannot guarantee that it will be uninterrupted or free of errors. Your statutory rights as a consumer are not affected.
16.2. We are not responsible for matches, rating or Akçe lost because of a dropped connection, a device fault or other causes outside our control. If we see that a match ended wrongly because of our error, we will try to correct it and give back the Akçe it cost you.
16.3. To the extent the law allows, our liability under these terms is limited to the total amount you paid us in the 12 months before the event.
16.4. We do not limit our liability for intent or gross negligence, for death or personal injury, or in any other case where the law does not allow liability to be limited.
17. Force majeure
We are not responsible if we cannot meet our obligations because of events outside our control, such as natural disasters, war, epidemics, major failures of internet infrastructure or of our hosting provider, or orders of competent authorities. In such a case we will inform you and try to restore the Service as soon as possible.
18. Governing law and disputes
18.1. These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye. The courts and enforcement offices of Istanbul (Central) have jurisdiction.
18.2. If you are a consumer, you keep the protections that the law of your country of residence gives you and that cannot be excluded by contract. You may bring a claim before the courts and consumer bodies where you live. If you live in Türkiye, you may apply to the consumer arbitration committees and consumer courts.
18.3. Please talk to us first: we can solve most problems by email at support@tabulastudios.com.
19. Changes to these terms
19.1. We may change these terms. Each version has a number and an effective date.
19.2. We announce a material change in the app at least 30 days before it takes effect and ask you to accept the new version. Changes made for legal or security reasons may take effect sooner.
19.3. If you do not accept the new version, you can delete your account. Your rights relating to content you bought are not affected.
20. Languages
These terms are published in several languages. If the versions differ, the reading that is more favourable to you applies.
21. Terms specific to Apple
If you downloaded the app from the Apple App Store, these terms also apply:
- These terms are between you and us, not Apple. We, not Apple, are responsible for the app and its content.
- You may use the app only on Apple devices that you own or control, as permitted by the App Store Terms of Use.
